My mom gave me a book called "Motherhood is not for sissies". Torin loved the picure of the messy baby on the front, so I relinquished the jacket cover to him. My mother-in-law gave me a book called "I am a Mother" by Jane Clayson Johnson. It's a great read for those days when you're covered in sticky stuff and wondering why you accepted this job in the first place.
