Thank goodness the sun is out! I remember how rainy and gray last January was, and I'm so glad this year has been so bright. Of course, most days have been too cold to DO anything out there, but at least the extraordianry sunshine reflects off the snow and fills the house with gorgeous white light.
After the last snow, we finally had enough to cover the weeds on the hill behind the barn, so we braved the cold and went sledding on Saturday. It was fun, even though it's not much of a sledding hill. However, it was perfect for the girls and I enjoyed the time outside. If it warms up again, I might take the Turkish rugs outside for their annual snow cleaning.
