Walk (Fast) With Me

Ok, Dave asked for my treadmill playlist. Thanks- like I didn't have enough time-wasting going on with facebook.

Here (also here) it is. It's not quite in order, but you get the idea. I try to walk/run to the beat or double-time if its slow. I generally go for 22-30 minutes at 3.5-4 mph, covering between 1.3 and 2 miles. I sometimes get quite animated while singing along... bonus cardio workout.

I get to input this kind of stuff on my Weight Watchers daily planner, thus canceling out food points I may have used that day.

There are a few songs missing because I either don't know its name (from undocumented Beautiful South cd from Dave) or last.fm doesn't have it (like BNL's Disgruntled Elf's Lament). I like Holiday music.

I'm excited to see the playlist. Did I miss a link to it? I'm always looking for some good tunes to get me motivated to work out.

Hey, i've been doing last.fm for a long time - when did you start? I'm "grantaves" on there, so i've friended you.

Marie, here's a more direct link to the list

Also, I no longer have copies of the Best of the Beautiful South cds I made, so I can't document them for you. But I want to do the responsible thing, so make me copies and mail them to me, and I'll give you at least a spreadsheet version of whats what. Same for anything else I've given you over the years and not documented properly. Deal?

Seeing someone's music preferences really gives you new insight on a person. Very interesting! I never would have took you for a BNL fan. They are my favorite! I saw them in Utah twice at Club DV8 before they took off in the US (just before Stunt came out). I was in the second row pressed up against the stage! And I met them after the show as they walked down the street to their hotel!!

S- I'm a moderate fan- a few songs are totally solid, but some just don't move me.
M- I've fixed the post to have two links. Hope that helps. My music tastes are rather eclectic, as you might remember from my music poll and discoveries last year on this blog.
D- I might just do that.

Maren, I love that your music tastes aren't run of the mill. I wish we had been able to spend more time with you when we were in Vermont. Anytime, you want to move our way, we'll find you a house:) ~Amy

I should mention, for the record, that my exercise playlist isn't totally representative of my usual listening habits. It's just a collection of fast songs from my itunes library. That said, it's all stuff I like.

Amy- same here. We'll help you find a nice Vermont home any day!
